Peer Assistance Services Available for Colorado Dental Hygienists 🦷💙

For many years, Colorado dentists had access to a dedicated support system for mental health, substance use, and workplace stress. Now—thanks to the strong advocacy of CODHA—Registered Dental Hygienists (RDHs) have that same support.
Peer Assistance Services offers confidential, non-punitive assistance for RDHs who may be facing challenges such as substance use, emotional burnout, or mental health concerns. The goal is to help dental professionals receive the support they need, protect their careers, and continue to provide safe, high-quality care.
This resource is not part of a disciplinary process—it’s about wellness and early intervention, helping you take steps forward before things reach a crisis point.
CODHA worked hard to ensure RDHs had access to this kind of support, because we believe caring for your patients starts with caring for yourself. Whether you're struggling, concerned for a colleague, or just have questions—you’re not alone.
